Dear participants, Ahsalaam Alaikum

We are organizing to assemble the very 1st International Conference on Palestine in the Republic of Maldives (Greater Male’ Area) during February 2025. This conference is hosted by an NGO; International Muslimah Aid and Education. The event aims to bring together academics, political-science experts and other professionals who are working to amplify the Palestinian voices. We as a team are exponentially honored to host this conference in the Republic of Maldives, a testament to the Maldivian love and solidarity to our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

With the colonization of Palestine since 1917 till this very day, Palestinians have been living under brutal occupation in which every aspect of their fight for freedom seems to be met with bloodbath. As academicians, it would be our duty to educate the public about Palestinian history and how we need to rise up against colonialism. This conference we hope would give birth to a new type of zest, a zest that educate with the truth, a zest that will voice the oppressed, a zest that will call upon the complicit parties without fear and a zest that will keep igniting until Palestine is free from Safad to Beersheba, from Al-Qudhus to Gaza and until all sixteen districts of Palestine is free.

Objectives of the conference

To discuss actions academicians could do to help Palestinians.
To create a network that would work consistently in the liberation of Palestine.
To address the impacts of colonialism on human life.
To address the perpetrators and their involvement in the genocide of Palestinians.
To understand the actions that can be taken and how academicians could put pressure on the governments to carry out their obligations to the ummah.
To enhance cooperation between countries’ universities and collaborate on the issue.
